The MEAN WELL XLG-100 LED Driver is a compact professional AC/DC driver for architectural, commercial, and outdoor LED lighting systems. The XLG-100-24-A supplies 24V DC, up to 4A, with a rated output power of 96W.
Its wide 100–305VAC input range, active PFC, IP67 enclosure, and built-in electrical protection suit projects that need reliable operation in demanding environments. In addition, the XLG-100 series combines constant-voltage and constant-current operation rather than functioning as a basic 24V power supply.
Adjustable Output Current
The A-type includes a built-in potentiometer for adjusting output current.
For the 24V model, installers can adjust the current from approximately 2A to 4A. Therefore, the driver can match different compatible LED loads without requiring an external current-adjustment device.
Its constant-current operating region extends from approximately 16.8V to 24V. Meanwhile, the rated output remains 24V DC at 4A, giving a maximum rated power of 96W.
IP67 Metal Housing
The XLG-100 uses a sealed metal enclosure with an IP67 protection rating. Consequently, it works in both indoor and outdoor lighting installations where dust and moisture protection matter.
The body measures approximately 140 × 63 × 32 mm, keeping the driver compact for its power class. Moreover, the fanless design uses natural convection for cooling, so the unit operates without moving mechanical parts.
High Electrical Performance
The 24V version reaches approximately 92% typical efficiency.
In addition, active power factor correction achieves:

- PF ≥0.95 at 230VAC
- PF ≥0.92 at 277VAC
at full load. THD remains below 10% under the specified loading conditions.
No-load power consumption stays below 0.5W for the standard version.

Furthermore, the XLG-100 series supports 6kV line-to-earth and 4kV line-to-line surge protection, with higher surge options available for specific configurations.
