The MEAN WELL LRS-200-24 Power Supply is a compact enclosed switching power supply for professional 24V DC systems. It supplies 24V DC, up to 8.8A, and a maximum rated output of 211.2W.
Its low-profile metal enclosure, terminal connections, adjustable output voltage, and fanless cooling make it suitable for electrical cabinets, control systems, equipment housings, signage, and compatible 24V LED installations.
24V Output up to 8.8A
The LRS-200-24 supplies a regulated 24V DC output with up to 8.8A current.
A built-in adjustment control allows installers to set the output voltage from approximately 21.6V to 28.8V DC. This adjustment can be useful when compensating for cable voltage drop or matching the supply voltage to compatible equipment.
The 24V version reaches approximately 89.5% efficiency under rated test conditions.
Slim 30 mm Construction
At 215 × 115 × 30 mm, the LRS-200 uses a 1U low-profile format that fits easily inside suitable electrical cabinets and equipment enclosures.
The perforated metal housing supports free-air convection, so the unit operates without a cooling fan. Therefore, installers should maintain sufficient clearance around the ventilation openings instead of enclosing the supply in an unventilated space.
Unlike sealed outdoor LED drivers, the LRS-200 has a ventilated enclosure and should sit inside an appropriate protected housing.
Selectable AC Input
The MEAN WELL LRS-200-24 Power Supply supports two AC input ranges:
- 90–132VAC
- 180–264VAC
The installer selects the required range using the input-voltage switch. It can also operate from 240–370VDC when configured for the 230VAC input position.
Always set the voltage selector correctly before connecting the unit to the mains supply.
Built-In Protection
The LRS-200 series includes protection against:
- Short circuit
- Overload
- Over voltage
- Over temperature
In addition, the power supply withstands a 300VAC surge input for five seconds and a 5G vibration test. No-load power consumption remains below 0.75W.
The operating temperature range extends from -25°C to +70°C, subject to the specified load-derating curve.
