The MEAN WELL XLG-25 LED Driver is a compact constant-power AC/DC driver for professional architectural and outdoor LED lighting. The XLG-25-A operates across a 22–54V DC output range and supports adjustable output current from 250mA to 1050mA, with a maximum rated power of 25W.
Unlike a fixed-voltage 24V power supply, this model works in constant power mode. Therefore, it suits LED modules that require controlled current across a variable forward-voltage range.
Adjustable Current
The A-type includes a built-in potentiometer for output-current adjustment.
Installers can set the current between 250mA and 1050mA, while the factory default is 700mA. The recommended operating region spans 22–54V, depending on the selected current and connected LED load.
For example, the driver can operate around 700mA at 36V or approximately 1050mA at 24V within its constant-power envelope. This flexibility makes it useful for COB modules, LED boards, architectural luminaires, spotlights and other constant-current LED assemblies.
Compact IP67 Housing
The XLG-25-A measures only 105 × 63 × 30 mm.
Its sealed metal housing carries an IP67 rating, so the driver can operate in both indoor and outdoor installations where protection against dust and moisture is required. Moreover, the fanless construction relies on natural convection for cooling.
Wide Input Range
The driver accepts 90–305VAC and 127–431VDC input. Consequently, it works across a broad range of mains conditions without a manual voltage selector.
Active Power Factor Correction supports strong electrical performance. At full load, PF reaches at least 0.95 at 230VAC, while THD remains below 10% under the specified loading conditions.
Typical efficiency reaches approximately 88%, while no-load consumption for the A-type remains below 0.5W.
Electrical Protection
The XLG-25 includes protection against:

- Over temperature
In addition, surge immunity reaches 6kV line-to-earth and 4kV line-to-line. The driver also carries a 5-year manufacturer warranty and a typical lifetime exceeding 50,000 hours under the specified thermal conditions.
