Opal Globe Magnetic Light

The Opal Globe Magnetic Light is a decorative magnetic track fixture built around a softly illuminated spherical diffuser and 100% brass detailing. Designed for DC24V magnetic track systems, it uses a 3W OSRAM 2835 LED with a broad 120° light distribution.

Four globe sizes—Ø80, Ø100, Ø120 and Ø150 mm—allow the same design language to work at different scales. The smaller versions create subtle decorative points along the magnetic track, while the larger globes establish a stronger visual presence.

The brass components come in gold, black and platinum finishes.

Opal Globe Magnetic Light Design

The spherical opal diffuser gives the fixture its simple, recognizable form.

Rather than exposing the LED source, the globe creates a smooth luminous surface and spreads light across a broad viewing angle. Its rounded geometry also contrasts naturally with the straight lines of magnetic tracks, linear modules and architectural ceiling details.

Designers can install a single Opal Globe Magnetic Light as a decorative feature or repeat several modules along one magnetic rail to establish a consistent rhythm.

Different globe sizes can also be selected according to the scale of the room and the visual weight required from the fixture.

The collection comes in four dimensions:

The Ø80 mm version creates the most compact appearance and works well where several magnetic lights need to repeat along the track.

Ø100 and Ø120 mm versions offer progressively greater visual presence, while the Ø150 mm globe creates the strongest decorative statement.

Because the fixtures share the same spherical form, designers can maintain a consistent lighting language while changing the scale between different areas of a project.

The Opal Globe Magnetic Light uses a 3W OSRAM 2835 LED with a wide 120° beam angle.

Instead of producing the concentrated beam of a magnetic spotlight, the globe distributes softer light across a broader area. Therefore, it works particularly well as a decorative and ambient layer within a magnetic lighting system.

Directional magnetic spotlights can handle artwork, displays and architectural details, while magnetic linear lights provide broader functional illumination. The Opal Globe adds a soft spherical element to the same track.

100% Brass Magnetic Details

The metal components use 100% brass and come in three finishes:

• Platinum

Gold creates a warm contrast against the white opal globe and coordinates naturally with timber, marble, travertine and brass detailing.

Black integrates more discreetly into dark magnetic tracks and ceilings, while platinum complements cooler contemporary material palettes.

The standard colour temperature is 3500K.

Optional versions include:

2700K and 3000K create a warmer atmosphere for residential and hospitality interiors. Meanwhile, 3500K offers a balanced warm-neutral appearance. Higher CCT options create a cleaner and more neutral white light.
