The MEAN WELL LRS-150 Power Supply is a compact AC/DC switching power supply for professional 24V electrical and lighting systems. The LRS-150-24 supplies 24V DC, up to 6.5A, with a rated output power of 156W.
Its slim metal enclosure measures only 159 × 97 × 30 mm. Moreover, the ventilated construction cools through free-air convection, so the unit operates without a fan.
Adjustable 24V Output
The LRS-150-24 produces a regulated 24V DC output. However, installers can adjust the output voltage from approximately 21.6V to 28.8V DC using the built-in control.
The power supply supports up to 6.5A current and 156W output power. In addition, the 24V model reaches approximately 89% typical efficiency.
This combination works well for compatible 24V LED systems, signage, control equipment, automation systems and other low-voltage loads.
Only 30 mm High
At just 30 mm high, the enclosure fits neatly inside electrical cabinets, lighting boxes and equipment housings.
The perforated metal body allows heat to escape naturally. Therefore, the LRS-150 requires no cooling fan. Installers should maintain sufficient ventilation around the unit and keep it inside a suitable protected enclosure.
Selectable AC Input
The LRS-150 supports two selectable mains ranges:
- 85–132VAC
- 170–264VAC
It also supports 240–370VDC input when the selector is set to the 230VAC position. Therefore, installers must set the input-voltage switch correctly before energizing the power supply.
Furthermore, the unit can withstand a 300VAC surge input for five seconds.
Built-In Protection
The power supply includes protection against:
- Short circuit
- Overload
- Over voltage
- Over temperature
Moreover, the LRS-150 operates across a -30°C to +70°C temperature range, subject to the specified derating conditions. It also withstands 5G vibration.
No-load power consumption stays below 0.5W, while an integrated LED indicator gives a quick visual indication when power is on.
