The MEAN WELL XLG-200 LED Driver is a high-power AC/DC LED driver for professional architectural, commercial, industrial, and outdoor lighting systems. The XLG-200-24-A supplies 24V DC, up to 8.3A, with a rated output power of 199.2W.
Its wide 100–305VAC input range, active PFC, IP67 metal housing, and high electrical efficiency suit demanding lighting installations. In addition, the 24V version works in both constant-voltage and constant-current operating regions.
Adjustable Current up to 8.3A
The A-type includes a built-in potentiometer for output-current adjustment.
Installers can adjust the current from approximately 4.15A to 8.3A. Meanwhile, the constant-current operating region extends from 16.8V to 24V.
The nominal output remains 24V DC, with a maximum rated power of 199.2W. Therefore, the driver can support substantial 24V LED loads while allowing more precise current matching.
IP67 Metal Housing
The XLG-200 uses a sealed metal enclosure with an IP67 ingress protection rating. As a result, it suits both indoor and outdoor lighting installations where dust and moisture protection are required.
The body measures approximately 199 × 63 × 35.5 mm. Moreover, its fanless construction relies on natural convection rather than mechanical cooling.
High Electrical Performance
The 24V model reaches approximately 94% typical efficiency.
In addition, active Power Factor Correction supports:
- PF ≥0.97 at 115VAC
- PF ≥0.95 at 230VAC
- PF ≥0.92 at 277VAC
at full load. THD remains below 10% under the specified load conditions.
Surge and Electrical Protection
The XLG-200 series includes protection against:
- Short circuit
- Over current
- Over voltage
- Over temperature
Furthermore, standard surge immunity reaches 6kV line-to-earth and 4kV line-to-line, with higher surge options available for selected configurations.
The MEAN WELL XLG-200 LED Driver works well in architectural linear lighting, façade lighting, street lighting, floodlighting, landscape lighting, signage, high-output LED strips, and other professional 24V lighting systems.
